Seems like a while since I blogged………. it’s not like I’ve been doing nothing obviously. In fact I have spent the last 2 weeks (feels like more) putting together my new FaceBook shop. It’s an exciting step forward for Skin Kiss and not the way I was necessarily expecting to go at all.
Last August when this little idea of mine first sprouted I had plans to produce nothing more than a range of luxury bath salts with enticing scents. Well, I have come a long way in the last 10 months and you can see just how far at www.facebook.com/SkinKissatHome.
I am very proud of what I have achieved so far under what can only be described as ‘somewhat difficult circumstances’ – but more of that another day. Today I would just love it if you could all pop over to my shop & let me know what you think.
The ‘shop’ officially opened on Saturday & I have had 2 orders already. The range is still mainly for bath but there are the ‘overlap’ items like my Honey & Almond Scrub Bar; This has a scrubby side for buffing/exfoliating and a moisturizing side full of gorgeous cocoa butter so it can be used in the shower as well.
Then there is the Cedarwood & Ylang Ylang Bath Oil which can also be rubbed into the skin after a shower or even used as a massage oil. So many ideas, so little time!Today I have made some Citrus bath Fizzes for my local Health shop where they already stock my Lavender & Clary Sage Fizzes which have gone down a storm!
Next up were a few Lavender & Oat Herbal bath Bags – just drop them in a warm bath and use like soap. It will feel a bit slimy – that’s just the soothing oat milk coming out. Cleans as well as soap but, unlike soap, it wont dry the skin out and can be very healing for sensitive & eczema prone skin. Bag should be used once only but at 75p or 3 for £2 it’s an inexpensive bit of luxury.
Well, off now to pack up another order so please pop over and take a look – it’s taken me a long time to reach this point but I aint turning back for nobody!
Till next time
